How To Find Restaurants And Dishes On CravingsPH

A customer guide to discovering restaurants and searching for specific dishes on CravingsPH, using filters for cuisine, location, and barangay.
Published March 13, 2026Updated March 13, 2026

Direct answer

To find restaurants on CravingsPH, use the search page with Restaurant or Food mode. Restaurant mode lets you filter by cuisine, city, and barangay. Food mode searches dishes by name so you can see which restaurants serve what you are craving. You can open a public branch menu from search, a shared link, or a QR code at the counter. Table QR codes are available only for restaurants that enable table sessions.

1

Search for restaurants

Open the search page and make sure you are in Restaurant mode — the default. Type a restaurant name or keyword into the search bar and tap enter. Results update instantly showing matching restaurants with their cuisine type, location, and popular items.

If you do not have a specific name in mind, leave the search bar empty and browse all available restaurants. The results still respect any filters you have active.

Tip: The home page shows nearby restaurants and a "How it works" section built around discovery, public menus, and ordering from your phone. Start there if you just want to explore.

2

Search for dishes

Switch to Food mode using the toggle at the top of the search page. Type a dish name — like "adobo", "sinigang", or "lechon" — and CravingsPH searches across all restaurant menus.

Results are grouped by restaurant. Each result shows the restaurant name and the matching dishes with their prices and photos. This way you can compare the same dish across different restaurants in one view.

Tip: Food mode requires a search query. Type at least a few characters to see results.

3

Filter by location, cuisine, and barangay

In Restaurant mode, use the filter bar below the search input to narrow results. Choose a cuisine type from the horizontal pills, select a city from the location dropdown, or pick a specific barangay.

In Food mode, the barangay filter is available to narrow dish results to restaurants in a specific area. All filters combine — you can search for "lechon" in a specific barangay to find exactly what you want nearby.

Filters persist when you switch between Restaurant and Food modes, except for cuisine which is restaurant-mode only.

4

Browse a restaurant's menu

Tap any restaurant card to open its menu page. The page shows the restaurant header with logo, cuisine tags, and contact info, followed by the full menu organised by categories.

Use the category tabs to jump between sections — like Appetisers, Main Course, Drinks, and Desserts. Each menu item shows its name, price, and photo. Tap an item to see its full details, variants, and modifier options.

Search within the menu

For restaurants with large menus, use the search icon in the menu header to open the menu search sheet. Type a dish name to filter items across all categories without scrolling.

5

Scan a branch or table QR code

Tap the "Scan" button in the bottom navigation bar to open the QR scanner. Point your camera at the QR code by the counter, on a flyer, or at a table if the restaurant supports table sessions.

A branch QR opens the public menu for counter or pickup ordering. A table QR can additionally connect your order to a table session when that branch has enabled table ordering.

What you will see

Scan QR code

Point your camera at the QR code on the table to open the restaurant menu with your table number pre-filled.

Tip: If the QR scanner does not work, you can also search for the restaurant by name and open the public menu directly.

Frequently asked questions

Can I search for a specific dish?

Yes. Switch to Food mode on the search page and type a dish name. CravingsPH shows matching dishes grouped by restaurant, with prices and photos.

What filters are available?

In Restaurant mode you can filter by cuisine type, city, and barangay. In Food mode you can filter by barangay. Both modes support a text search.

How do I find restaurants near me?

The home page shows nearby restaurants when location is available. You can also filter by barangay on the search page to narrow results to your area.

What does the QR code do?
